We are the weirdos, Mister.
Yeah, so I’m basically closing up shop with this blog.
There are still a few people whose blogs I’ll stalk on a regular basis, and I’ll get email notifications if anyone leaves me a messages. But I’ve moved on to blogging on a couple of other, more subject-related tumblrs.
If anyone that I’ve talked to a lot over the years wants to keep in touch via facebook or anything, shoot me a message.
It’s been real, guys.
Love yas.
Out.
Since I barely post here any more.
Also can’t refer to it as my “personal” blog, since all my personal shit is being bloggerated elsewhere.
HO WELZ.

I did a kinda redraw on that Japanese Star Wars cover. I just swapped Luke’s and the Redhead’s heads to see how they’d look with each other’s poses. It’s a bit messy, because of Red’s hair, both cutting it out and covering it up, and I flattened out Luke’s new chest and filled in his waist a bit. I didn’t change the poses at all, though I did tilt the heads to match their swap-mates’ old positions. It’s amazing how just a few degrees of tilt make. Red looks so much more business-like, like a Jedi even, while Luke looks kinda sexy now (he said in a gruff, masculine, completely straight way), maybe even a bit wet.
I love how just by doing this shop it really highlights the differences in the poses. And you’re right, the head tilt makes a huge difference!
Disturbingly beautiful clay/porcelain sculptures by Israeli artist Ronit Baranga
The use of fingers and mouths in my work is full of intent and meaning. The fingers and the mouth are very sensual organs in the human body and are therefore very powerful as separated items from it. The “seamless” combination of these organs in plates or cups, appearing as one, creates, in my opinion, new items that “feel” their environment and respond to it - Ronit (interview with Empty Kingdom)
This is amazing.
Oh my goodness these are so awesome.

don’t do anything because of fibro, boyfriend gets mad, do things…pain for weeks
Switch extreme pain with stress and depression and you’ve got my parents’ and grandparents’ reactions to my problems. I still can’t get them to understand that I don’t have to do anything to be badly affected by other things.
For me, switch for “fatigue” and it’s pretty much everyone who’s not in my direct family or friendship group. At least I know how lucky I am to have family and friends who understand or at the very least sympathise!
But really? “Oh, I think I have chronic fatigue, I’m always tired at work!” Mm-hmm. Okay, take a day off… sleep for 7-9 hours overnight, spend your day off doing nothing much more than watching a DVD, a bit of internet, some light reading. Then sleep for 7-9 hours again. Oh, what’s that? You feel refreshed from your little break? HOW FUCKING NICE FOR YOU. Me? Not so much. /rant.
